Bad Thoughts,
Low Self-Esteem,
and Shitty Art...

These are three of the major factors that often affects me from time to time. Often, one of the three would affect me at times and for all three to happen at once would be an impossible feat!

But in early 2014, the unthinkable happened.

A mind of anxiety, caused by my intense jealousy and rough introduction to middle school, as well as an art style so unlike my style before, it only worked for Twist and since Twist was our "attention-grabber" for my page on deviantART, it causing a stream of primarily Twist art at the time. All three issues caused the "Spring of 2014", the dark ages of GToons history. From February to June, our self-esteem and motivation for art diminished and broke me as a person.

As much I hated Spring of 2014 and the content we created at the time, drawing this made me like the design. ^^; I think it looks real slick and if I were to draw in this style today, It would stand alongside the GToons' Style 1 and its edgy brother, Frantic Style! Also, drawing in this style and looking back at the drawings before, I noticed something.

In the beginning, Twist had real colorful designs, comprised of stripes and neon colors, then after Spring of 2014, Twist's color palette shifted towards a more simplistic design rather than the neon striped colors palettes designs Twist used to have. After seeing this, I compared Twist to our innocence. When I joined this site, I was an energetic, bright, cartoonist who drew what he wanted and posted what he wanted, every design was made from our desires to see Twist with, back then, a radical, neon, and edgy designs. But as time grew, we became less energetic and calmer than before. Complex designs turned into simpler designs, and just like that, we became a new person.

Confused onto I why I wrote that, probably a random overlook.
