Starting somewhere around August of this year, I noticed that Gordon had some noticeable changes as I was drawing him in my sketchbook. He started to develop Sonic the Hedgehog-like feathers and his design was beginning to look stiff and strangely smaller, It was at this time that I knew that he needed a redesign.

One of my desires for Gordon's redesign was to finally give him arm feathers. Back when I was creating Gordon, many of his concepts featured him with arm feathers, if you can call it that, since all it was were measly elbow feathers. I eventually took out in favor of giving Gordon a cute little polo. Over the course of 4 months, (with added procrastination into the progress) Gordon went through multiple redesigns including, "roughing his hair", adding stripes onto his tail, his brand-new arm feathers, and to top it off, a vest to accommodate his new arms.

I'm really digging Gordon's new design now, beats that old Sonic haircut he was growing. ;P
