In the GToons universe, Gale and Mynx were in a group called "The Rejects". A group of sergals born not like real sergals. They are often seen as fakes and are shunned upon, thus they must hide and steal to survive. Gale was often selected to do these types of missions, and successfully did almost all of these due to his short stature. But one night, Gale and Mynx sneaking into a palace are surprised by Rain herself. A confrontation between Gale and Rain results in Gale losing his right hand and being banished into a dark place. Mynx, who was hiding during the entire event, ran off to tell the others. This prompted the group to disguise themselves like real sergals to prevent being caught by the others.

As for Gale, he was stuck in a place like an uncreated universe for five years.. Soon, to be rescued.
