Moar Lemur Things (critique requested)

Moved Accounts...

Part 2 of "How the f*** am I supposed to draw this thing???", featuring my newest favorite character Kerrin.

In this episode, we learn that Kerrin actually has two brothers, and in a shocking twist, they all look visually distinctive!

I should really be working on requests right now...

This is my exact reaction to seeing this. As of now I ask you one thing, what is art in your form? Do these really need to look like lemurs we would find in the real world? No, I find power and hope in what we do with our own hands, forms and what comes out today on paper is where you need to be and I love it.

You kick me back and remind me, what is this when we draw it? its what you make of it mayo person, and I love it. these adorable bbies. You know you left bait out for me when you asked for Critique on this and so let me start.

This is good, this is a good image and work of art. Why? Because you made something out of something else. Adorable, surreal, legit anatomy even for magic cute floating heads yes I know I have messed up dreams but I know, I feel this, now this is a start to something. Because even as simple digital inks are a limited language, the imagery will always be immortal when I feel these characters as people I could watch and meet.

Fuck Da Vinci, fuck the art museums. I came here for works that feel like people, and feel like a world I see in a movie trailer. And this is so special to me even if its a sketch.

I can only praise this, as it wins.

That's... that's certainly something! I'm really not sure how to respond to this, to be honest.

If there is one thing to say, here it goes. Knowing that the stuff I do will impact even one person so positively is more motivation than I would ever need to continue doing it. And with the piece in question just being a mundane, experimental sketch? That is an immense motivator for me to push on and develop something that will truly astonish. Painting, graphic novel, whatever I decide to do and wherever I end up going with these characters, I'll absolutely pour my heart into it.
