Absence [Poem] by Mourne

Absence

Is it possible for a heart to break,
that never had love's touch awake?

To finally have too much to bear,
from years and years of waiting wear?

And shall we mourn the walking dead,
who killed his heart but kept his head?

Absence [Poem]

Mourne

Unfortunately, hot sauce does not love you back, if you get what I'm saying...

Now what line of thoughts would have brought such a downer poem from you, Mr Mourne?

The problem with hearts is they won't stay dead, no matter how hard you kill them. Nicely writ poem here. :3

As I uploaded it I had a paranoid moment in which I wondered whether or not you had already done that last rhyme.

Which I guess means it's my favorite of the three. ;)

You made me curious, so I checked, and I have never once rhymed head and dead together. The glory is yours, all yours! ;3
