so let me introduce you to the first cluster of characters:

(they're probably my favorite group / the one that gets the most attention)

Here's a bit of a write up about them because I'm too lazy to go in and edit the description.
All of these guys are misfits, various levels of unwanted and unknown. Emre and Zoko have known each other since they were little. They were both orphans but they looked out for each other. Zoko was good at getting her hands on items for other people, and Emre knew how to draw a crowd. His rhythmic dancing people would come over and watch while Zoko would slip through the crowd collecting goods to sell. The others came to the group slowly. First there was Helol a little baphomet, they appeared seemingly out of the blue one cold winters night. Emre and Zoko drew the little thing in close to the fire and Helol stuck around after that. Helol, as it turned out, was quite handy though and their slight figure allowed them to keep look out in case of any trouble. Next came Kelle, his fast hands and easy attitude fit in with the little rag tag bunch. Helol had caught him with his hand dipping into their pockets, but Emre and Zoko were impressed all the same. Kelle never intended to stick around, just for a day or so, but he liked the little crew enough that he never left. Last was Chi, a crowd of people had circled around her. Names were being shouted, and the little band made their way through to see her. She was different, hooves and horns, night and day splashed across her face. They helped her away from the crowd and she was thankful enough to stay.

They are all odd little puzzle pieces, leftovers that never fit, who made a puzzle of their own. They're not the most moral or ethical people out there, but they take care of their own and that is all they truly care about.
