    I see you're currently requesting critique -- that's hard, because I think it's a strong piece!

    I suppose... perhaps the abundance of red-orange could be broken up a little more in places with different colors? Maybe the clouds/sky could shift more deeply into violet territory. Maybe even GREEN just to go complimentary?(!) But the prominent reds and yellows really make Mario's gloves stand out, so I wouldn't want to see it go TOO far with color variety, the reds really sell the composition. Maybe the fire pillar at the top could be different color, or maybe "Bowser's" eyes could repeat the white glow, or go more blue? That's all super taste-based, tho.

    Actually I really wouldn't mind seeing that missile-bill a bit better. Maybe if it were closer to the foreground so the figure could be bigger, or if instead there were more of them? I mean they aren't insubstantial enemies, and they might come in FLEETS in a place like this, right? I'm lovin' those giant chomps. :o

    I don't feel like there's a whole lot to critique: the composition is GOOD, perhaps it could be better, but I don't think it's flawed as such. What do you think?

      heh yes, there isn't much colorvariation, but that is because the picture isn't colored as such, its only shaded with colored lights.
      The entire picture only was floodfilled with a dark red-brown and then colored lights painted over it.

      Enemy variation is something i messed up, i just couldn't think of any decent placement, except for the chomps

        Oh I wouldn't say you "messed up" on the enemies at all, but perhaps you could "play" with the missile bills a bit to sell them a bit more.

        And again, i think the limited color scheme totally works. Looks like Mario's gonna have a bad time.

        Either way, I really feel like I was nitpicking, to try and FIND something to critique at all. It's a strong piece and I don't want you to feel like it's lacking, particularly. :3
