A little thing I made as an entry to the transformation contest! You make your character a wereform and if you win you get it made canon, so here's one for Chum!

It was just a little glowy thing! It looked so tasty! Chum didn’t know it was attached to something bigger, at least not until he heard a snap and a shriek so blood curdling, that it got him high tailing it out of the deep water he’d been so daringly swimming in to begin with. By the time he’d gotten to shore, he had no interest in doing anything but forgetting the incident! Something that would prove challenging when a few days later, he noticed a light rising from his throat.

Although weird, it wasn’t too concerning until that night when he was in the water again. At first mouth flash light was handy until it leapt down his body and sparked out of his mouth, causing him to grow and transform into whatever it was he took a bite out of — his teeth grew sharper, limbs longer and thicker, lights running down his body, including a lure of his own that protruded from his head. In his new form he found himself stronger and scarier, as well as hungrier…

Now, whenever Chum finds himself wet and in the dark (or in deep water), he finds himself transforming into this slightly hungrier beast… Which was cool at first until other tessarians began to think there was a monster frequenting the waters. I guess that means Chum gets his own private swimming spot, but truth be told, it can get awfully lonely!

TL;DR Chum but off the wrong fish’s lure, spent a few days as a flashlight until he transformed into a beast! Now some tessarians think there’s a monster in some waters and although a Chum has private swimming spots now, he gets a little lonely.
