After getting a wonderful sketch page commission from Gibbons on FA (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13514456/), and freaking out over the adorableness of little kid Max in the bottom center of the page, I decided to try drawing him that way, myself. :)

His family and friends called him Maxi when he was little, hence the title. :)
