I drew this portrait of Idan mainly because I wanted to see how he would look with more realistic markings around his muzzle. The "mask" on kolonoks (Siberian weasels - he's not a ferret!) tends to be sorta splotchy and speckly where it runs into the white around the nose, rather than the clean, smooth division between brown and white that I'd been giving him.

Ah yes! I think if you draw him this way, more people will know he's a weasel over a ferret
But I'm a bit of an animal buff, so maybe not
Regardless, you succeeded in making me recognize him as a kolonok right away now!
