this is a monster from a dream i had that turned lucid.

Weird story time!

So. there was this elevator-ish room i had entered with three others, the room had four walled cubicle like sections, each with a chair, once seated we couldn't see the other people but we could hear each other.

All the chairs faced different ways and looked a bit like a dentists chair, only a bit more futuristic.

In the center of the room there was a black metal pillar, about a meter thick. the backs of the cubicles where exposed to the pillar.

After a while i could hear the other people complain about pain and telling someone to stop hurting them.

That is sort of when i realized i had to be dreaming, as i can't get hurt in my dreams, and that was probably why i wasn't hurting at all, while the rest where in obvious discomfort..

That's when this guy approached, in a way, melting out of the pillar and hovering over the chair, i couldn't really see the rest of his body, just the top of his torso, his head and his hands but he told me he couldn't harm me because i was lucid (weird) and asked for a chat to pass the time till the elevator doors opened again.

He sounded very polite and asked very reasonable questions, and from what i remember he was pretty nice.

in the background, the complaining kept on going-

After a long chat he retreated into the pillar the doors pinged and opened, the other 3 people rushed outside looking terrified, they where bloodied and hurt and it was obvious that they where in pain still.

They pushed the doors shut and where hysteric, yelling about not naming the thing in the room, and that we must never speak his name.

and that it was "just a room! names have power, don't say his name" and such things.

I don't really remember why but i mentioned "just a room full of entropy" that made the others startled and scared, and thus the doors pinged open again and the monster pulled them in, thanked me and the elevator doors closed and it vanished into the ground leaving me behind.

i woke up and was very confused, staggered to my computer to google if 'a room full of entropy' was something that i had picked up from somewhere or a moviequote? but it wasnt, its about thermodynamics or something? and energy?

i guess Entropy is his name now c:

maybe pain is the thing that powers his elevator? i got no clue, but despite the hellraiser-ish setting it was a strangely plesant dream
