Another bug character, Eldwin the earwig! He is a gentle and friendly little bug, always willing to help. He can be a bit skittish, though.
I also learned that earwigs can apparently fly. They just. Never really need to or feel like it. That's great. Their wings are like delicate little angel wings.

the yellow on his back is actually representative of the hard second pair of wings (like a beetles only smaller) (it's simplified so it just looks like one flap) where the wings get carefully folded and tucked under! I should draw a representation of that too...

where are his wings?? they're visible in that one picture but in the back view they're absent..?!
