Day One...

ModoTu

Modo and Sa-Vern were locked in combat in the humid Forests of Arcane. Modo has been trying everything he could to fight back, but Sa-Vern's punches and kicks keep coming in way too fast with extreme force, striking the young Alazorian blow for blow. With each hit, Modo felt a bone fracture in the affected areas. Eventually the Alazorian had to call Sa-Vern out, "Sa-Vern! This isn't even remotely a fair fi- AGH!!!" Sa-Vern punched him in the ribs with no reply. Modo stepped back quickly holding his gut. He looks up at Sa-Vern with a face of aggravation, "Sa-Vern...will you listen to me." Sa-Vern just looks down at his blue plated wrists, adjusting them and twisting them around like he's cracking the joints. Modo sees this opportunity and attempts to protest, "You should know by now having those cybernetic enhancements places you at an unfair advantage. How am I supposed to counter th-" Modo doesn't visually remember much, but he remembers the pain of a thick, heavy, cold, and hard surface striking his jaw as he lies on the ground, the forest area gone with the white and black grid marks of the simulation chamber. He looks up to see Sa-Vern standing above him commenting on his performance, "No prior combat skills, poor reaction time, little to no strength, panics while under battle scenarios, a complainer who whines too much. This places you with the lowest starting grade over everyone else." Sa-Vern walks off to his offices as his cybernetic battle armor forms over the remaining portions of his skin excluding the head, while Modo's supporting comrades assist in helping him up.

Kor-Van soon approaches asking, "That was brutal, Sa-Vern. Did you really need to be so unrelenting?" Sa-Vern shook his head, "...but I needed to be sure." Kor-Van seemed displeased, but proceeds to ask, "And did you find what you were looking for? Did you find Modo to be at all dangerous like you hypothesized?" Sa-Vern stopped a moment as if he were to turn around and answer......

...but he resumed to press forward, angry at himself for being so wrong...
