Day one in ceramics we were asked to make a pinch pot, day two we were asked to incorporate coils with that pinch pot in some way. This is what I did. The lower part was the pinch pot, the handle and body made of extruded coils and the topper is a cute little turtle I sculpted up for a lid just for fun. I've always been fairly ambitious in my ceramic work and this pitcher is proof positive that its been that way since day one.

I eventually gave the turtle lid to my mother-in-law as a paper-weight since she loves turtles and the finished pitcher now sits on a shelf with my bridal bouquet in it.
