This piece is quite near and dear to me as it is going to mark the start of me illustrating and recording my dreams, then building them into something more for people to enjoy.

The concept behind this beast is it's a rose that is red with small yellow spots that also has spider feet, large dark green spiky leaves, large vines that wraps around a host plant/object, fangs on it's top two petals [That are also puffed up in what seems to be venom] and it has spores that look like small crab spiders that are yellow with red spots that go out and hunt prey [as large as a humming bird] for the large flower. It's highly venomous and is also invasive in tropical regions. The small spores hunt in packs' and are extremely fast. But they only have the lifespan of a few days, as the large flower can live for close to five years on average.

I do eventually plan on fleshing out the beasts concept more in the future but this is what I wrote down after the dream and as close as I could get with my current art skills to what I envisioned. There should be a lot more of the small spider spores, buuttttt I didn't really want to go overboard with them and ruin the image itself.
