The Special Security Services is considered a privateer company founded by Captain Maxwell Shepherd and Admiral Douglas St Bernard, former soldiers of the Usland Armed Forces. In truth, the unit often operates in mercenary work and as pirate raiders in some cases, stealing from other pirates and a number of countries such as Thembria. There had been names given of the company to mark them more as pirates, but none stuck. They operate from a floating dirigible aircraft carrier, and are equipped with planes for 5 fighter squadrons, a reconnaissance squadron, and a search & rescue squadron.

Name: Ace London. Aliases include the Ace of Spades and Hot Shots, and his callsign is Spade
Since his humiliation to Baloo during his escort mission of a top-secret package to the Usland Armed Forces, it didn't take long for Ace London to retire early and become a freelance escort pilot. He eventually found his way to the Special Security Service and barely got accepted into the company of top combat pilots. He now leads a flight dubbed the Four Ace Draw but was forbidden to have his plane painted completely red, eventually settling to red stripes on the tail fins. He's still a braggart at times with his wild stories towards some of the recruits who hardly heard of him before, but has been more humbled in the presence of true ace pilots in the company.
