For the most part, the Geminalli Empire itself is an island the size of Sicily, and the architecture matching that of Italy. This means most of their streets would end up being too narrow for their modern military equipment (I have planned to have most of the Royal Army stationed in Geminalli's mainland colonies, save for some infantry divisions to remain on the island). So the ONLY armored units on the island belongs to the Carabinieri to use in case of war. The lack of sophistication of these old machines is made up by their maneuverable size and complement as support for infantry.
