Initial Egg Size: 4 inches
Hatching Egg Size: 1'-1' 6''
Average Hatch Height: 2 Feet
Years till adulthood: 2

Eggs are laid in communal hatchery pools, where usually 2 or 3 adults ceaselessly guard the eggs. Tides and currents bring nutrients to the offspring while they remain in their eggs. The eggs will grow in size as their shells absorb more water and minerals from their surroundings, minerals which have a profound effect on their coloration. When the eggs finally hatch, newborn Mirromy stand approximately 2 feet tall.
Eggs gestate inside a Mirromy's body for an approximate 14 weeks, until winter, and incubate for roughly 24 weeks within their pools. Eggs are spherical, and approximately 4 inches across on average when laid. Eggs are laid in groups of 2-4, are connected by a thin, sticky film, and hatch late-spring through early summer. The time it takes for an individual egg to hatch is entirely dependent upon the rate which it is allowed to absorb the nutrients it requires.

Eggs are typically the color of the mother's blood.
