She is a leucistic bat eared fox that has been infested with a shadow parasite.

The shadow parasite can morph in different shapes based on the needs of its host. The parasite itself feeds off emotions from others around the host and from the host energy itself. If worse comes to worst the parasite will tap into the hosts life energy taking small pieces until a time that it can properly feed. The last thing the parasite wants is for the host to die, for once the parasite is firmly latched it cannot leave without both parties demise.
