Armaldo helped Igglybuff out of the Monster House pit and out into the sunlight. Once their eyes adjusted, they could see ruins galore and in the distance, a giant temple just waiting to be explored!

"This is a place ... a place that's been buried in time." Armaldo said, astonished.
"Master, I betcha there's lots of treasure hidden in there! Come on let's go!"

"Wait!"

Armaldo and Igglybuff turned to see a purple Pokemon standing before them, followed by Igglybuff's friends and family, Officer Magnezone, and several Mangemite.

"Igglybuff!! Are you alright!?" his mama called out.

"Oh, friends, what are you doing here? I'm fine! Have you come to explore with--"

Suddenly, the Magnezone and Magnemite tackled Armaldo to the ground, restraining his arms with a sturdy rope. Igglybuff stood there wide eyed, yelling at them to stop.

"What are you doing!?" he cried, "Stop!!"
"Don't worry, kid, you're alright now." Nidoking said to Igglybuff. Igglybuff just looked up at him, scared out of his wits.

One of Igglybuff's friends, Smoochum, yelled over to him. "Igglybuff! That guy with you ... he's an outlaw, he's a bad guy!!"

"A ... a bad guy ...?" Igglybuff asked.
"That's right. He's a wanted criminal. We've been searching the entire region for him, kid. He's a 'B' rank outlaw."

Igglybuff stood there, astonished. "It ... it can't be ... It's a lie ..."

Magnezone finally got up, having propperly restrained the outlaw. He yanked him up to his feet. The binded Armaldo flinched at the sudden pain that jerked through his body.

"To have dragged a kid into this," Nidoking started, turning his attention to Armaldo, "You're the lowest ..."

"N-no! I asked him to!" Igglybuff protested. "Don't do this!!"

"Let's move it." Magnezone ordered.

"Stop ... please listen to me ..." Igglybuff cried.

They began walking away when suddenly the ground began shaking violently. Everyone looked around in fear.

"Wh- what's going on!?" a Magnemite cried.
"An earthquake?!" the other one yelled.

"OoOooooooOOoh ..."

Everyone looked at Igglybuff. He was emanating immense power. He cried out, and small explosions erupted near him.

"YOOOOM-"
"Junior! Stop!"

Igglybuff stopped upon hearing Armaldo's voice.

"I'm asking you to stop! Please! If you blast Nidoking and Magnezone, then you'll be a bad guy too! Then what?"
"B-but Master isn't a bad Pokemon! I've been with you this long, I know that!!"

"Officer Magnezone?" Armaldo asked, turning to the silverish Pokemon.
"Yes?"
"Can you give me minute to talk to Igglybuff? I promise I won't try to run."
"Understood ... but only a moment ..."

Armaldo walked over to Igglybuff and sighed.

"I'm sorry, Junior, but it's as Nidoking said, I'm an outlaw. I'm a bad guy. I've been on the run for so long, and that's all I've been doing. Running, running, running. I settled down in Murky Forest and started that rumor of a monster living deep within it to keep people away. And ... I meant to tell you much sooner, but I couldn't bring myself to."

"But, master, you're not a bad Pokemon!"

"You have to try and understand, Igglybuff. I've done things that I need to pay for. And, you can't be with me. You're different, so don't be a blockhead like me. Continue exploring for me. You did enjoy it right?"

"Uh huh ..." Igglybuff sobbed.

"Then keep exploring for me. And when I'm doing paying for what I did, and I still feel the same, I'll explore with you again. I don't know when that will be ... but look forward to it. Be the best explorer you can for me."

Igglybuff walked closer to him and hugged him tightly, sobbing. "It ... It's a promise."

Armaldo felt the binding on his wrists and sighed. He wanted to return the hug to show that he was honest about how much fun he had had these past few days. All he could do was sigh and feel the poor kid shaking in sadness.

"It's almost time." Magnezone said.

Armaldo broke the one sided hug and nodded to the officer, backing away from Igglybuff and turning away.

"Sorry to keep you waiting ..." Armaldo said.
"Master, don't go!" Igglybuff cried.

Armaldo reached into the back pocket of his pants and pulled out a precious gem that they had found on their first exploration. It was the Defend Globe.

"Catch." he said, throwing it with little power at Igglybuff. The child caught it and held it in his hands.

"See you later, junior."

And just like that, he walked off with Nidoking and the officers.

"Master, no!" Igglybuff sobbed. He collapsed on the ground, and his friends and family surrounded him, trying to comfort him.
In the end, he received the Defend Globe. The item he'll always remember his master by.
