When I was a kid and my parents brought me to the beach, I used to like going around, lifting up the rocks and collecting the baby/little crabs in a bucket. I didn't keep them of course, I let them go but I somehow had loads of fun just collecting them for a little while. My sister and I used to do it together for a while.
