Daxton Kemberge may not be the most fashion-inclined person, but he knows it. He's comfortable in his normal "slumming it" style of clothing, but everyone knows that it occasionally pays to look good; be it for a job interview or to impress some delightful little piggy at the holoflicks, a nice outfit can make all the difference. He often needs help putting outfits together and while his fathers would gladly give him a hand, he's stricken with the classic teenage inability to see that Ed n' Eddie have any semblance of taste whatsoever. They just don't get it.

So he looked up a few tips online. There was this very outspoken individual known as 'Classybat' who had all kinds of great tips and ideas with Daxton in mind, though it did take a LOT of convincing to have him do away with his frumpy ol' hat. Classybat called it gauche. Daxton may disagree, but no one can deny that he makes a real impact when he leaves the house after taking advice from this mysterious stranger.

Laila Lavinia isn't just your average farm girl. Well, she is, but she's also a bit of a gamer. She thrills in the competition provided by games, be they VR, holographic, or otherwise. She was a particular fan of a game called Skyships of Conquest, a massively multi-player role-playing game. Of course, she told no one of this fancy, as many thought SoC was a bland game without much flavour - but she made her own fun. Joining with the in-game Naval Fleet, she joyed in finding epic loot and finishing quests to build up her standing until her Avatar, simply named d'Onse, rose to the rank of Admiral. Then she became other players' worst nightmare.

Assuming they'd decided to play the game as a Sky Pirate, anyway. When she got some of the most top-tier equipment and her own high-end airship, she began hunting those slimy pirates down and doing everything she could to end their careers in swashbuckling and debauchery. She made people quit the game on more than one occasion and relished in every moment of it. For one whole week she topped the leader boards in PvP scores. Life was good for the Navy.

But when the game shifted and the environment changed, Laila started having less fun. Suddenly the pirates she was capturing just would not stop trying to hit on her, and they weren't really in the spirit of the game so much as the spirit of getting into each other's pants. It was around the time she encountered a ship called the "Love Boat" that she lost her taste for the game. Congratulations Captain Horlock.
