Reina's childhood friend, Soren is a bookish, mischievous and sharp-witted spell-caster who is fascinated with the affairs of the chaotic and arcane. Xeir small size and young age belies an immense arcane pool that xey could possess to wreak havoc should xey choose to. Xey also holds a deep grudge against the Agradúta and the Flickerei, and relishes the time xey forcefully amputated the arm of one with a dagger.
