Mr. Brown, Franklin by mickel

Mr. Brown, Franklin

mickel

It appears I wasn't done drawing Mr. Brown. It appears he wants his story told.

During the course of this study, Mr. Brown has been arrested for vagrancy in nearly two dozen cities in three different states. He is promptly returned to a parental home he no longer recognizes and just as promptly disappears again.

It is doubtful that even Mr. Brown could tell us what it is that he is running away from, whether it is the next push by the enemy, the next shelling or gas attack, or even the firing squad he so barely avoided, but it is evident that in their own heads and in their own ways, over five years after it ended, pvt. Brown and the others in this study are still fighting the Great War.
