I'm a cranky professional Wildlife Biologist. When not hooting for Northern Spotted Owls, writing NEPA documents, or hunting, I can be found sometimes doing art. My favorite mediums are stained glass and graphite.

I can be found hanging out as one of two beasties.

Mare is my first, oldest, and perhaps most well-known avatar. She is known for having stripes, teeth, a temper, and having BBQ'd at least one member of each major mythological critter-type. She's half horse, half cat, and 100% cranky. You have reason to be concerned if she has a bottle of BBQ sauce with her.

Metis is my half-blacktail deer, half spotted owl avatar who is coming to represent me in increasing amounts. She's known for having feathers, hooves, a catnip mouse, and persistently and patiently bothering a roosevelt elk bull by the name of Delton.
