OK here is our first song!! I know... we're not the best singers xD But this is the best we've gotten so far. We hope to make an acoustic version with piano later on. The vocal recording was originally through Protools but it kept crashing so we switched to Garage Band. The music was created on Mixcraft and FL.

We have no idea what genre this is xD the closest we could come up with is alternative or trance.

Lyrics:

How can I

how can I move on

You were my world

but now you are gone

These trials and trivia

that we've undergone

has caused our mistakes

to become overdrawn

Blue ocean waves

Call out to me

Take me away

Bring me to peace

Blue ocean waves

Be my escape

bring me to life

teach me to breathe

This was sure

To end in catastrophe

you were my friend

but now an enemy

you tore my sails

and broke my speed

no heart beat

yet I continue to bleed

Blue ocean waves

Call out to me

Take me away

Bring me to peace

Blue ocean waves

Be my escape

bring me to life

teach me to breathe

Now I see the sea come crashing down

down on the shoreline but without a sound

things aren't the same without you around

and all these storms only wish for me to drown

the roar of the sea mixes with the crowd now

making my aching heart start to pound now

wishing i could fall in to this ocean shroud

for my broken past holds me to the ground

and to think I had found a way

to live my life outside of the quay

I left the docks, but I'm stuck in the bay

but Ill reach the ocean when I live down the shame

Ill close my eyes and just float away

hoping that my soul will be saved

and I can avoid these tsunami's

and safely stay on the blue ocean waves

Blue ocean waves

Call out to me

Take me away

Bring me to peace

Blue ocean waves

Be my escape

bring me to life

teach me to breathe

I quite like this. It's got a nice melody, well-written lyrics, and I think the singing is quite good. The second instrument/synth that comes in during the interlude after the second chorus was a bit harsh on my ears, but maybe that's just me. Overall, nicely done.

Thank you for the comment :) We're gonna work more on this later on as this is just a first draft. We're definitely gonna redo some things
