It was mythee's bday yesterday!! Their shaman OC, Auxlang, can turn into a lion, so I drew them as.... a baby lion.
I don't know if it makes sense for the character, but it is cute!

All of your scenarios make a lot of sense! Fortunately, even if Auxlang's magic was affected with the purpose of making them less powerful, it would completely backfire. Auxlang's resulting cuteness would completely distract and disarm all enemies who came into contact

I can think of reasons why this might happen. 8D Like an accidentally imbibed experimental youth potion, or something affecting Auxlang's shamanistic magic and it makes 'em temporarily only capable of lvl 1 transformations, or something. The adorable powered-down version of that skill. >O
