Halloween commission for October 2011.
I absolutely love classic Dr. Who. I grew up watching re-runs and, except maybe for Red Dwarf and the original Star Trek, there is no better sci-fi serial as far as I'm concerned. (As for the new series, all I'm going to say is it has never interested me in the slightest.)
I'd be hard pressed to say which of the classic Doctors were my favorite. Each of the first seven were amazing in their own way, and while, in many ways, Jon Pertwee is THE Doctor to me, I love all of the classic interpretations. But I went with Peter Davison's outfit for this icon, as I felt it was one of the most easily recognizable. He was awfully cute back then, too.

I'm not going to throw any tomatoes at you. I liked Tom Baker as the Doctor, I will admit that, but I do sort of thing he went on just a bit too long with it. I guess I can't blame him, as the Doctor has to be one hell of a role, but by the time it gets to Davison's doctor, you're pretty much ready for the change.
