"At the Gates"

The focus of this piece was something the commissioner asked me to put emphasis on strong emotion and make it a rather powerful piece. The interpretation is open for the view to decide as it often is with the pieces I create. With this one I really pushed the limits of my knowledge and grab tutorials by the fistfuls to learn even the tiniest trick or tip to create the feeling I wanted. Several references have been made to help create this, with a bit of help from two photographer friends and a good deal of patience and inspiration from the commissioner himself I would like to think this came together very nicely.
