A test in Matte Painting, that turned out exceptionally well I think. The original inspiration comes from the painting "Soria Moria" by Theodor Kittelsen a norwegian painter if I am to understand correctly, I was directed toward his works to create a very near version of his only....furry. I also used some photo references of Norwegian Landscapes taken by my husband ~lillereven. In this case the fursona here is an otter, complete with a bit of a pun to it. I thought the picture could stand a bit of updating, so the otter's stance is different as he gazes toward the viewer he wears modern clothes. Created for Stray Con 2010, this is the first year, and a founders meet you could say. With luck Stray Con will be around to grow for many more years to come, here's looking toward the horizon with great hopes.
