I had read in tweets from *TaniDaReal that she had some troubling dreams or rather sad memories she was dreaming about her beloved Ashati. I cannot begin to explain what urged me to nudge around her website and find the memorial page she created for her, but I know that I was very deeply moved by it. It only happens so rarely that we connect on a much deeper level with our companions. They all have special places in our hearts and fond memories but some touch deeper still, Ashati was one of those few. I had wanted to weave a dreamcatcher but it did not seem right instead I picked up a brush and started painting, the result I think is even better than any dreamcatcher and holds so much more meaning to it.
