Gene Suits 7015: Rytho (critique requested)

Meaninglez

"Ho man. I think I know what to get pill for our anniversary."

Been working on this one on and off for a while. Finally decided to finish it.

Takes place in a distant future where people can make artificial bodies to wear or program for various tasks. With some...minor "drawbacks".

Gene suits have a cavity for the user to stay in, usually accessed through the back. A small digital tattoo on the back of the neck allows for neuro uplink to the host body where the suits digital brain remaps nerve sensations directly to the user and suspends the users metabolic functions. When they're not worn, they usually enter a self sustaining mode to keep the synthetic body alive and healthy, but they can be programed to do virtually anything else. Uses range from construction to companionship.

Prolonged usage can cause...issues. Reports of mental alteration, altering of the hosts DNA, and even bonding to the suits have been reported in rare cases. Users are encouraged to wear responsibly.

Sonas is a company that is known for using earth animals as a base for their "performance series" designs and usually specialize in suits for personal use. Other companies have suits for corporate, military, industrial, medical, and planetary survey. All modeled after various creatures, races, mythologies, arts, and concepts, and can range from humanoid to mechanical. Suits with chassis smaller than the user can get expensive, usually relying on unreliable remote connections, or complex space warping mechanisms.
