Family Life in Skyrim

... It can get pretty interesting sometimes.

My Argonian, Darath, and his mate, Scouts-Many-Marshes, spend the evening with their adopted human children before putting them to bed for the night in their Solitude home. Blaise wants to be an adventurer, no doubt. Sofie, she's a bit more crafty. It's amazing the way the family fits together... A Stormcloak daughter, an Imperial son, and two male Argonians. Did ya see that coming?

But all told, family life is good ^^ Darath and Scouts like to talk about it for sure.

Yeah, the first time I played Skyrim, I married Scouts accidently and interrupted the ceremony. When I saw him later, he said I broke his heart and called me a monster. Even if it's just a game, I couldn't stand that guilt trip and emotion from him, so I went back and married him truly. Ever since then, he's always been my spouse choice when I play Skyrim X3 He is a very nice choice actually, always very affectionate. I've modded my game so that spouses will hug once a day too, so there's even more depth of feeling in him.

I really like this picture ^^ It was a Christmasy gift from my friend Dracontar

Yeah, but perhaps he wasn't all that handsome to start with X3 My friend's style sometimes involves exaggerated features. That along with the way he does linework reminds me a lot of the old Rankin/Bass animated movies. Still, I really like this pic on the whole ^^

mmm, I do see that :) The Rankin/Bass cartoons were pretty unique (my favourite being Last Unicorn.)

the lighting makes his mouth lines a little odd :o

they look paler compared to the rest of his face which is in the glow of the light

          That they were ^^

This is probably the most detailed my friend has ever gone with lighting. I see the little faults like that too, but it's still good taken as a whole image :3

that's true :) its the effort that someone has put into a drawing that matters. Plus the tiles and backgrounds look cool :D

I know ^^ He sent me a WIP of it just before Christmas because it was meant to be his gift for me and he thought it'd be a bit late. Even then, I was really impressed with how well he was getting the background. I mean it looks almost exactly like the Proudspire children's room. He had one of my really good family screenshots on Steam to help. As a gift, this was a very nice thing to get.
