There is a long story behind this commission. Almost a year ago, I became social for the first time with local furries. After that was Rain Furrest, my first furry convention in 12 years. It really changed my life. I remember the bus ride home from RF11 that sunday. I remember the revelation I had. That I wanted to be a part of everything I saw at RF. Fursuiting. I wanna be inside one of those suits, and I want to be a part of that world.

Two months later, I had a fursuit. 7 months later, I have attended almost a dozen fursuiting events and clocked many hours in suit. It's changed my life.

Everything around you changes when you're in suit. You become a different person. People treat you differently too. They smile, hug you, wanna take pictures with you, and wave at you. It's not that one strives for attention, it's that one misses the more POSITIVE type of attention this world is so lacking.

The world changes when in suit, and not just outside of the suit. It changes my views as well. Normally, I can't stand children. They drive me INSANE. They cry, scream, pee, kick, whine and so on and so forth. But, when in fursuit, they become cute and fun. Assuming they don't kick you. X.x I dunno, it's something special. Something I can't really discirbe. So fun to see them smile and give you such an excited high 5. It's the coolest thing ever. :) Go ahead and call me a "poiiceman wolf" *twitch*. It's ok cause it's very cute and fun to get a row of high 5's from the kids. :)

I have learned the last 7 months on what it means to be a fursuiter. Alot of furries think fursuiters are smug and think themselves above other furries. That really isn't true. We really enjoy what we do, but we want everyone to join the fun. I know it's not for everyone, but I would love EVERYONE to at least try it once. There is always someone with an extra suit to borrow.

I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and bought a fursuit. It turned out wonderful, and I have had so much fun. Not just fursuiting, but fursuiting with others. Having furries next to you having just as much as you just makes it that more amazing. Wonderful fursuiters like skyan, razzylee, matrices, carma and many others have been a big inspiration to me. And have supported me.
