So I saw a video a while back seeing someone water paint a guitar with neat swirls and all that, and I was like "hmmmm. I don't want to do that to a guitar, but I want to do that." Then it clicked a few weeks back that I could do it with something else, so I got some cheap stuff from Salvation Army, and decided to do this instead.

I laid a base coat of white, water painted the plates, cut out some decals from sticky vinyl, then spray painted over the decals.

When I pulled off the vinyl, I got this awesome shit. I'm stoked with how they turned out, and I'm gonna try and do it more often.

I'm excited because this is my first piece of visual art ever I've ever been proud of enough to post.
