Craft Tutorial: Puff Paint Paw Socks by Matrices

Craft Tutorial: Puff Paint Paw Socks

Matrices

Here's a fun craft everyone can try that is fairly inexpensive!

All you need is some puff paint from the craft store (Around $1 a bottle)
A brush
Some cardboard or other card (like cut up cereal box, etc)
And some socks that need a little livening up!

I used socks I already had that I didn't wear as much and thought I'd make them cuter!
I did some experimenting and found a thin coat works well and isn't too bulky inside shoes, but puff paint is inherently textured and has great grip when applied thicker (like stuff on slipper socks)! Allow extra dry time for thick applications.

Have fun crafting! :D

I just want to say something that I was just talking to my husband about. I've watched you for years, practically since I joined the fandom back in 2000, and you have always been the most pleasant person to watch. Your stuff is awesome and ever improving, both art and fursuits, and most awesome of all you have always answered my questions. More then that, you've spent all this time making all these lovely tutorials, it's so great to see other people who actually want to teach and want to spread awesomeness! I'm sure it's partly because of watching you that I really want to spread my knowledge of my craft. I love to see people enthusiastic about art in any format and I love sharing that enthusiasm with others too!

Anyway, all I'm saying is that you are awesome, your stuff is awesome, and keep it up! I hope to meet you at a con one day, but i'll probably be way too shy to come up to you XD
