I like how you wrote the question mark, with the two lines making it up, most curious and interesting way of doing it. Nice hand in the 2nd frame too, I really like the rounded finger tips, little claws and stubby thumb.

That was me writing one "?" and realizing it looked like arse, so I wrote it again without erasing. The rest is a thing though!

Oh, well it still is interesting to look at. I like the looped d's too. d always looks very elegant, I think, with a looped ascender, and I do like the contrast between the relatively constrained lines that make up letters and the lines which make up the images, because those lines can go anywhere and be anything! Also, looking some more at the picture, I really like the shape of Eyeless Mikes face in the last image, and also the ear fluff. In addition, I found the things you mentioned about his vision being 'a whole mess of information in the EM spectrum', v. interesting and curious, a good turn of phrase also w/ 'The world just has a different rainbow.'.

Well, thank you for all the comments about the shape of Eyeless' face. Though that's not ear fluff--it's gills. He's got external gills like an axolotl. I think you may be reading a little too much into the letters though, that's literally just what my handwriting looks like! I can manage a much harsher block-lettering style...but if I'm just writing words you get this look. Basically, the parts of Eyeless' appearance are intentional as I'm trying to be MOSTLY consistent with him...but the words are just words. My handwriting is just messy!

Ah gills! My mistake >.<. Nice feathery gills are still a good thing to have on ears though. Gills are curious and interesting structures.

Re letters, one of my biggest interests is the history and practice of handwriting: I like looking at handwriting and lines/lineart because of how it's a direct record of the motion of fingers, hands, wrists etc. So I just enjoy how your handwriting looks alongside your pictures. I just can't stop looking at and thinking about handwriting and lines basically D:
