Someone asked what the greatest prank Vaquor (blue one) had pulled off as of the time of the start of my story. It was interesting figuring that out, since he very much enjoys pranking people- I'd say this is a great example! This is his #1 prank since a) Vaquor and his tiny feet had to find a way to quickly dig that trench to fill with whatever that muddy stuff is in b) what even is that stuff?? c)he had to figure how to cover the mud stuff in a layer of normal dirt to hide it (how did he cover it all? that trench is about as wide as he is long) and d) it's not every day one of his pranks gets such a reaction out of Pumpkin. The little guy has a great future of trickery and traps ahead of him!
This piece helped me figure out more about my cell shading style- like, light poking through the canopy, that was, uh, interesting to figure out. In the end, I think it came out well, but it posed a good bit of challenge to me for sure. Cell shading is very different from my usual painterly style.
