Renard the Renamon by Marquis Alastair

Renard the Renamon

Marquis Alastair

Backstory
Renard is a 'retired' digimon. He was a digimon for a young tamer in the early 2000's, he was named "Renard" by his tamer. He went on many digital adventures with him, and over the years Renard became a surrogate father figure as his tamer's parents were divorced and he didn't have a true father figure in his life. However, as all children eventually do, his tamer grew out of digimon and left the digital world behind. Renard, despite being 'abandoned', couldn't be prouder to learn that his former tamer eventually went through college and is now a computer programmer, has a family of his own, and works on the side as a motivational speaker. Renard is now a retired, high-level digimon. He just sort of hangs out and acts as a friendly and laid back mentor figure and guide to those new to the digital world or those he bumps into. Which has given him the strange nickname of "Renadad" or "Renaman." These jokes don't bother him as he has an outstanding sense of humor, peace-of-mind, and humility. He's about as easygoing as it comes and he has an extremely friendly, warm, inviting, and positive demeanor that belies a former life of hardship, peril, and adventure.

Likes: Pizza, Dungeons & Dragons, Retro 1980s Cartoons, Synthwave, Philosophy, Exchanging Words of Wisdom, Chatting with other digimon, World Mythology, Storytelling, Music, Art, Wearing Human Clothing, Smooth Psychedelic Space Rock, and going on long walks in the forest at night.

Dislikes: Politics, Attention-Seekers, People Who Give Up too Easily, Loud People, Bossy People, People Who Talk too Much, Impatient People. (It should be noted that he's very patient and it takes quite a lot for him to actually get angry, he's very much a sort of neo-Zen sort of guy. Generally, he likes to just hang out, go on long walks, and just take in nature.)

Note: Like any true digimon, he doesn't actually have a gender.
