Background: Commander Sunskimmer's early life was like that of most Corellians of the era. On Antares' 18th birthday, he joined the Galactic Alliance and showed great skill at commanding those lower them him. Several years passed and Sunskimmer was assigned as the Executive officer of the frigate, Glory of the Alliance, under the command of Captain Ost Ran'Der. During the disasterous Battle of Caamas, the Glory of the Alliance took heavy damage and Sunskimmer lost his right eye during a hull breach, which he somehow survived. Seeing as the Galactic Alliance Remanant was strapped for supplies, he was forced to use a Trandoshan cybernetic eye, which glows green. He still serves alongside Capatain Ran'Der and the remains of what was once the Galactic Alliance.
