Background: Nessa Vander grew up like many other children of Eiattu 6, learning to ride Thaks and other local beast of burden. Upon turning 18, Nessa enrolled in the Eiattu Flight School and became a pilot, escorting the transport belonging to the royal family on diplomatic missions until she came to the attention of the Galactic Alliance and was given the chance to command a squad of her own, the Badgen Green Defenders. She later was assigned to a different fighter unit, the famed Raptor Squadron, which is currently stationed aboard the Tri-Scythe-class frigate, Glory of the Alliance. While commanding Raptor Squad, Nessa became romantically involved with the frigate's XO, Antares Sunskimmer, who began calling her 'Nes'.
