Looming Ambitions

Marc

Finnegan is my lawful evil zen archer in my D&D campaign. He behaves himself for the most part--mainly because he feels compelled to not act on his true desires as long as he's around Agrat and Tabris. They aren't his moral compasses as much as they are his moral speed limit signs that you could totally ignore if you wanted to, but you follow out of that begrudging obligation. Finn really isn't a good person, but he does respect and love Agrat enough to genuinely want to be good for him and honor him as his husband and companion, and honestly both would be surprised if they learned Finn was actually evil-aligned.

Anyway, here's Finn if his ambitions ever came to fruition. He'd continue thinking of himself as a good leader of the people, but act like a monarch who sees the world in black and white. His best interests are everyone's best interests, and if someone disagrees, they're wrong. He's also a part-orc supremacist who's quick to judge and mistrust other races, especially long-lived ones. There's only been one dwarf he's ever liked, and he's never liked an elf.

This is seriously one of the most over-the-top things I've ever drawn but I'm pleased with it.

If you're curious about Finn's background, personality, and so on, you can read more about him here!
