For anatomy assume that the ferret is just a neck, its not very slinder ether, treat the neck as the rest of the body rather than treating it like a neck, because than you'll get two independent objects. Much like you have here.
To solve this, make the neck lead into the rest of the body, thinking of corners. I could do a red line if you would like,
