When a school shooting happens, people usually want to blame mental illness (though that can be a factor despite stacking up on AR-15s not being a sign of mental illness), video games and cartoons (because fiction=reality apparently), lack of God in schools (because forcing a certain religion into our little kids should be encouraged), bad parenting, bullying (ex. Luke Woodham at Pearl High School), and most recently stupid trends Gen Z has been doing on YouTube (ex. eating Tide Pods).

Because yes, let's blame a bunch of dumb little shits shoving Tide Pods in their mouths for a radicalized white nationalist shooting down and killing seventeen innocent teenagers. What a perfect analogy!
