This was inspired by the theme song from Shiki, an anime I finished recently. I really, really liked it. It wasn't the best thing ever, but something about it was very unique from a lot of generic anime. It's hard to put into words, but it plays up the stereotypes of anime personalities in the most downplayed way, I just found it fascinating. Also, the interactions between the main male character and his friend were just goddamn tragic. I plan on colouring this eventually with some nice velvety shades of red and black.
