A sketch that may become a print one day. Though I don't care for the beach, I like thinking about the idea of it. Anytime I'm near a body of water surrounded by sand, I typically spend my time up on shore, reading a book in the shade. The sound of the water is delightful to read to. Being in the water? Not so much.
If anyone has critique on the perspective or pose itself, I would love to hear it. I want to get better at more interesting camera angles.

This is super cute holy crap. My favorite parts are the discarded swimwear and her tail (I love me some big ol' poofy tails, lemme tell you what). I also really dig the differing textures of everything (sand, towel, fur, leaves) and once it's colored, it'll probably look way better than that.
With that said, the perspective is a little wonky, but that's to be expected because regular anatomy is a bitch, and tossing weird angles into the mix makes it like fifteen times worse at least. Her body is reclined in a way that her center of gravity is off, and it doesn't look natural. If her arm was propping her up from behind, rather than from the side, it would probably help a lot (assuming you don't want to rework TOO much, I know I wouldn't).
It's just that with the current angles, she'd be more upright (like the suntan lotion bottle), because otherwise, it'd be very uncomfortable to be reclined that much without proper support. That's about all I can see that's really throwing it off. ; u ;
