Well, it happened a lot earlier that I expected. Last month I had to leave school because I unfortunately (fortunately?) I hit my loan cap and to continue I would need a co-signer. Since I really don’t want to risk saddling someone with a debt if I can’t pay my bills, I decided that it would be better to just drop out and start focusing on the future.

So… what’s in the future?

Well, the long and short of it is that I know that I’m going to need to start earning more in order to pay my upcoming bills. I hope to be able to do that between a combination of Patreon funding and commissions. I know that’s not going to happen overnight and I’ll be working on stepping up how often I post and then make sure that I’m happy with my quality.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to figure out a posting schedule that works for me, what art options I want to pursue, and everything else I think I might need. Also, I plan to set up a Patreon account. I love that it offers a way for anyone to support creator, and I hope that some of you will be willing to support me (even if it’s just a dollar here and there). I’ll be doing some research into rewards and am very much open to suggestions. I do have a comic in the works, and I really like the idea of early releases to supporters and cameo appearances.

I want to say thank you to all of my followers. You have been supportive and have offered encouragement as I’ve developed to this point. I’m excited and just a bit nervous about what the future holds. This is the next major step in chasing a dream, and I’m looking forward to creating for the community while doing what I love.
