Finally finished this one. I've had this picture in my folder for about two years as a simple sketch. One day I looked over it and thought, "Hey I like that pose, why didn't I finish this?" and decided to do just that.

The final picture is composed of many different things. The mountains and sky were done in TerraGen, the fallen tree was modeled in 3D Studio Max, and the trees are mostly textures from the Total Textures Volume 10 cd.

This is also the first picture I've done that has rain in it...so um, I guess that must mean something...or something. Anyway, you may notice this picture has echoes of "The Race". I assure you it wasn't intentional, it was just what came to mind.

Okay so it's been a while and I finally decided to clean up the rain a bit. I always forget that while it looks great in the full-size master copy I work on, the details get lost and muddled when you shrink the image for display on websites. So now, the rain looks like it's supposed to and I even added my logo in there, because when I first made the pic, I hadn't actually come up with the logo for that year yet.
