"Destruction leads to a very rough road, but it also breeds creation."

So, the figure print I got from www.bodastone.com did not come with any care instructions. In fact, it only came with bubble wrap, and a whole lot of loose sandstone. I figured hey, why not wash this sand off in the sink. Little did I know, the dye they use to color the prints is pretty much like an inkjet printer, and the water washed it right off. You can imagine after spending $200 on something and ruining it hours after I got it, I was a little sick to my stomach. I debated trying to get it replaced and then decided to just repaint it.
Painting it made me realize how far off the chest marks were, so I redid that to match, and did a little highlighting to make the details pop a little more. Finally, I covered it in a glaze to protect the paint so this little incident never happens again. All in all, I'd say it's better than it was when I got it so, I'm glad I ruined it in the first place.
