That neck length is gonna annoy me till the end of my days. LOL Pretty sure her head's too small too. But I didn't notice until the body already looked exactly how I wanted it, and for some reason if I try to fix the head after the body is complete, it only gets WORSE from there. Damn you, motor skills!
All colored pencils (various brands), character finished off with a blending pencil, background blended with my standby "cheater" method - you remember those old Crayola color-changer markers where they had the clear marker with the activating fluid? I still have one of those activator markers, and I just fill the cap with water until it all soaks up, and use that for a blender. Works quite nicely, and doesn't curl the paper as badly as using a brush (plus more precise). This is my cheat until I can actually get some of the Prisma colorless blending markers for backgrounds.
